Hi

Iam using Oracle 10g Enterprise edition as my DB server in my XP PC and using xp pcs of about 65 as clients connecting like http://192.168.1.10:5560/isqlplus connecting server and working all machines fine but the [strong]problem is: every 15 minutes the oracle service is stops again i have to goto services and restart service then its working fine.[/strong]

iam not able to come out from this problem pls help me in this issue.

server xp: Dual core 1.8, RAM: 1GB

client xp: Dual core 1.8, RAM: 512MB

[strong]How many clients can connect at a time to oracle 10g?[/strong]

You could configure a maximum number of sessions in your database, but if that maximum is reached that would not cause the database to stop working. If that maximum is not configured, the maximum will depend on the resources of the machine, and I would think that 1GB of memory is not enough for a database server, since the OS alone will use most of that memory.

The first thing to do would be to check Windows and Oracle logs, to find the reason of the service stops.
