Just enter &quot; oerr ErrorType ErrorNumber&quot; for example &quot;oerr ORA 06550&quot; and it would give you information concerning the error.  This is a standard utility and available with versions since at least 6.0.36.   I know it&#039;s also available on VMS, but I&#039;m not sure about Windows.]]></description>
