You need to be a bit more specific with regard to your environment and what you wish to acheive. For instance, if you are running Macs on a Mac network, quetions would be what Macs, what OS, describe your network briefly, what printers, what scanners. Are the printers networked, and, if so, how are they networked. Is the scanner on the network, or is it local? how many scanners, where do the files go, are they compressed or manipulated in any way after scanning and on their way to storage?

What is it you wish to accomplish that you do not now have?

With that information, you should get som egood answers. Without, your question will likely stand unanswered.
