time sharing operating system are those ope sys wi6 slice processor cpu time into small fixed time slices and assign the processes to the cpu for that time slice to be executed

A time-sharing operating system is a non-dedicated operating system. It like like a room being shared by two or more persons. The resources will be used on a sharing basis. Similarly, the operating system will feed each user connected in rotation.
