Basically, I would like to open my Office 365 calendar in Microsoft Word. Is that possible? I need to take several calendar events and place them in a Word document. How can I do this?

You can export your Outlook Calendar as a PST (Personal Folders) or CSV (Comma Separated Values). PST files are specific to Outlook, whereas CSV files can be imported into Outlook as well as other programs, like MS Word. If your calendar contains recurring entries, you must export as a PST file.

After creating calendar entry / event, just click on the entry or select then click file menu, save as. Now save it as an icalendar format or check if that format is compatible (vcalender) type. Open MS word & try this way, first drag the file (calendar file) on your document or choose insert > object > create from file. Now you can locate the calendar file to insert.
