Can anybody help us, please? We have the following problem: We received a backup tape of an AS/400 which contains some session with (presumably) save files containing Lotus Domino mailboxes. First question is: are these boxes nsf files and can they be opened by a Windows Notes client? The second question is: how can we open these save files with a Windows PC and how can we - if necessary - convert the AS/400 Notes files to Windows Notes files? If there is no direct way, can we do it if we have a AS/400? Thanks to everybody willing to help and comment. Andy

Answer Wiki:
NSF files are OS agnostic. If you have a client and access/privledges to the files, you can open them. An NSF file can go from one OS to the other without doing anything. You can have Domino clusters with different OSs.

Simplistic question (sorry!):
Were the files restored from the backup tape using an AS400 restore utility to a file location for your use? If not, the files are probably not going to be of much use to you.
