That gave us the opportunity to redo our horrible, spaghetti mess of wiring. Lessons learned?

1) not all consultants have the same ‘standards’. We ended up with two cabinets: one for our phone system and one for our servers. One was wired with cable management and looked great. One was spaghetti. It turned out that one was wired up by a different consultant because our first one was not available the day that cabinet was done. So…establish *YOUR* requirements for wiring ahead of time and make sure whoever is doing it follows what YOU want and not their own ideas.

2) snagless clips are wonderful. Half of our wires had broken tangs. Even ones that were fine run into trouble when we try to reroute them through the overflowing cable management tracks. Snagless ends would have eliminated this…albeit at a higher cost.
