Windows 7 ships with a lot of system settings and it's not always easy to remember where all settings can be found, even if the updated search function makes it a lot easier than with previous versions of Windows. Microsoft seems to have understood that it would be nice to list all settings in the same place and has therefore created a little trick dubbed "GodMode".
Create a folder and name it;
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
The next time you open the folder you will find links to all control panel settings listed. The name GodMode has nothing to do with the trick, it's just a suitable name.
The GodMode folder becomes a motorway to your system settings
Microsoft isn't exactly ecstatic over "GodMode", which is a documented feature of the operating system, but that doesn't mean the functionality is worse, even if MS insists that you shouldn't get your hopes up for this feature in the long run.

Biggest issue we ran into was surrounding UAC controls. With traditional login scripts running from the Domain Controller the printer mappings work fine but not mapped drives.
With the addition of the User Access Control feature in windows the separation of standard commands and elevated administrator commands your old login processes will be broken.
Of course if you update your process from scripts to GPP and GPO’s ahead of time and decommission your drive mapping scripts you’ll be fine.

try Use check boxes to select multiple files
In order to select multiple files for an operation such as copying, moving or deleting in Windows Explorer, you generally use the keyboard and the mouse, Ctrl-clicking every file you want to select. But if you’re mouse-centric, there’s a way to select multiple files in Windows 7 using only your mouse, via check boxes. To do it:
In Windows Explorer, click Organize, and then select “Folder and search options.”
Click the View tab.
In Advanced Settings, scroll down and check the box next to “Use check boxes to select items.” Click OK.
From now on, when you hover your mouse over a file in Windows Explorer, a check box will appear next to it; click it to select the file. Once a file is selected, the checked box remains next to it; if you uncheck it, the box will disappear when you move your mouse away.
Tried searching for another trick but it seems like Windows 7 GodMode trick is still the best asnwer, unless somebody comes up with a Windows 7 Settings Management tool which is unlikely to happen. If you wish to look at files, folders that are hides by Windows, initially open the Windows search box and then kind folder. Then choose Folder choices from the search list and navigate for the read tab. simply check the “Show hidden files, folders, and drives.” option.
