On SAP BI certification.
Certifications, SAP careers, IT careers, SAP BI, SAP certifications, SAP R/3, SAP DW, SAP 4.6, SAP BI certifications Hi ,
I have only 6 month experience on datawarehouse Domain with AbInitio tool in a support project.I am having total 4 years experience in telecom protocol testing background.Presently working in another support project with plsql and UNIX technology.Interested to swich over to SAP BI .How far it will be wise to go for this?Planned for a training and certification on this too .Is the certification exam required real time QS ?And whether the preparation will need tough analysis on Datawarehouse whole area or only limited to BI ?Again planned for training on BI 7.0 ,whether it will be wise to go for this or any new release coming soon to market ?
Please Suggest.I have gone through some of your valuable suggestion to other Blogs.I think your inputs will be worthy for me as well.

SAP BI is not really difficult.If you get work for an implementation project ,you will be an expert soon.Probably support project can take 1.5-2 years to understand you this tech.But yeah,as you seem a programmer so it will be a wonderful area for you.If you know ABAP+ BI,you have good value in market.But make sure of getting a project.Now a days situation is really bad.
Analysis will be limited to BI.And BI7.0 is the recent release...not expected any release in near future...
