Sounds like a school assignment.  Basically your system name is the database name. To find the database name of the I-Series use the DSPRDBDIRE command.
They are similar in many ways, they are comprised of many things.
A SQL Server database can have tables, views, functions, stored procedures.. etc.
An I-Series database will have files, programs, outqs, data areas, message queues… etc.
