hi Mike

Yes, the message was actually sent to the people reside group.

No replicated database for that user mailbox has been created. Yes, the message wouldn't send by itself but it has been triggered by something like the Universal Send button. Somehow one of Lotus Notes client didn't have this button, so I afraid it will happen again.

Guys,,,

I have faced this problem more than three times when I was working on the LN 6.5.5 then LN 6.5.4 and even by creating a PMR with IBM the problem was not resolved . However, the only thing which resolved this case was an upgrade of both the LN domino and LN client . to LN 8.0.2

Was the message actually sent? Could it have gotten there from replication with an old local replica somewhere that never got the deletion stub? I mean, messages don't just send themselves, it requires some sort of action, programmatic or user based. Also, if it was sent, it was not sent as a Forward or Reply - it is just the raw original message resent?

Sorry but I just realized something when I'm doing some Toolbar clean up at user's station.

I found that one of users Lotus Notes client didn't have the SEND button in his Universal Toolbar but that "strange email" (referring to our discussion topic) was triggered from his Lotus Notes client. May I know if there is any other possibilities that enable Lotus Notes to do the same "strange emails?"..

I still cannot find any from the technote but also still looking for it ..:-)

Thanks .

Thanks a lot! I've make a test and I believe this is the cause of the email sent issues..
Now I've to check every Lotus Notes client in my company to make sure the Button is not there ...

A million thanks for the solution :-)
