 Old Recovering Access database password
A client of mine worked on a database 5 years ago for a research project, but she had to quit for a while for cancer treatments. She's now responded well enough to go back to the project but her database, done probably in Access 2003 (perhaps even an earlier version, but certainly not a later one) prompts her for a password. Her assistant at the time must have added it; she has no idea what it is. Is there some way to manhandle this file to get it to cough up its data?

Software/Hardware used:
Dell PC; Windows XP, SP3; Access (2003 or earlier)

But does Elmsoft’s program recover passwords from Access files? Your answer doesn’t say which passwords it cracks. Perhaps it’s any program. But do you know for sure, from either your own experience, or from the experience of others you heard about while researching your own need for a password cracker, that it works on Microsoft Office programs? Thanks for the first answer. It’s a start.
