Q:
Offline Folders or Files Security
When an administrator login to the user's laptop for administration, does he has access/view to the users offline files? if Yes, then how these files can be secured from viewing/accessing by an administrator?

If he doesn't have an access to those offline files, then why he/she can't access to those files?

If you are an adminstrator on a Windows system, you "own" that system. There is nothing on it that you cannot access. (NOTE: You may have to go through some hoops to access, but you can access)

The only thing you cannot read is something encripted with a per user encription. If it is an enterprise, those keys should be backed up and available to specific administrators to recover data.

Windows offline files are stored in a compressed format but all an administrator would have to do is use the CSCCMD tool from Microsoft to restore them. Or he could just reset your password and access them that way.
