Whenever I right click while in Outlook, Word, or Excel the program minimizes to the system tray. Therefore, I cannot cut and paste, among all the other useful things. What is the cause and how do I regain control of the right mouse click?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Please do give some more details regarding the problem..Is this issue only with the MS office application or with any other programs like wordpad, notepad etc..
Possibly there could be some virus inhibiting such tasks..check with some good antivirus software…

Coolmech is right, it sounds like a joke program possibly, which an anti-virus will remove. You could also check your mouse settings from the control panel. My mouse does not give me options as to what happens when I right-click, but for all I know this could be programmed on another kind of mouse.

You definitely want to run a full malware scan using multiple scanning tools to ensure your system is clean. Also, if it's happening for other apps, check your mice (external and built-in) to ensure they're not dirty which could be causing the buttons to stick.
