I did some looking around, and did not come up with anything on exporting settings from windows live mail. Your original question is a bit garbled, but, can it be presumed that you will be importing the settings to Outlook 2010? If so, just start from scratch. When you have the settings in hand, if Window Live Mail can be accessed via POP3 and/or IMAP, just plug in the settings. I seldom export any settings out of Outlook or another mail reader because it is just as easy, or more so, to set up Outlook manually. Does Windows Live allow the use of Outlook anyway? Hotmail has never supported Outlook and other readers very well anyway so I would have my doubts about Windows Live Mail, or what ever they are calling it this week.

I was struggling with this one as well. Depends I suppose on how many accounts you have. In my case just 4 which took all of 4 minutes to enter into outlook
