OEM vs generic toner
I have a 2 part question. What is the advantage - disadvantage of using generic toner. Is the quality as good?
Once you start to use generic can you go back to OEM- Does it matter if you mix and match

Generic toner comes from unknown or uncertified manufacturers which makes the toner cheaper, but there is reason to doubt the reliability of the toner cartridge so you are basically taking a chance on if it will last or not. Usually you won't notice a difference in quality. There are some cases generic toners can leak, so be careful where you get it from.
You can always mix and match the toner cartridges you put into the printer.
