Some user has locked a file which is in use by a running job , so I'm trying to get end that job (Who locked the file ) so for that i need User Name,Job Name & Job Number.Can some body tell me how can i get these information in my running job & At the same time i'll end that job too without user interaction..

    Instead .. i you have the file name and lib name, use WRKOBJLCK you can get the job info from there but you can also en the jobs from there.

Instead, either the List Object Locks (QWCLOBJL) or the Retrieve Lock Information (QWCRLCKI) API would be appropriate.   However, it's likely that neither of them should be used simply to "end that job too without user interaction." You should just be "ending" jobs without knowing what that job is doing. That's often how objects get damaged and databases get corrupted.   Tom
