How do I setup NTFS right for directories?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Have a look at these Technet pages:

It is very Simple

  1. Right Click on the folder or directory on which you want to apply permission.
  2. Go to property
  3. Click on Security tab
  4. Add user or group.
  5. Deny all.
  6. Click on ok

One more thing…you have NTFS permissions and share permissions on folders..and they can be excusable.

So you know ..the most restrictive policy wins.
