		<description><![CDATA[The 8.x mail template has a backwards compatibility version built in that looks alot like 6.x &amp; 7.x. I think it is in there for use with the &#039;basic&#039; mode of R8.x. I am running an R8.5 server, using the 8.5 mail template. I have two machines, one with 8.5 and the other with 6.5.6 and the mail functionality is fully there on the 6.5.6 machine with two key exceptions... preferences cannot be modified and the OOO cannot be used.
