 Lotus Notes Client 6.5.5 and Domino 8.0 server?
Lotus Domino Server 8.x, Lotus Notes, Lotus Notes 6.x
Can I use notes client version 6.5.5 with new domino server 8.0? Or do I have to upgrade all the clients at same time?

Yes dude.. you can use Lotus Notes Client 6.5.5 and Domino 8.0 server One thing to keep in mind if this is a mail server - <b>don't</b> upgrade the mail template to 8 until the client is upgraded.

The 8.x mail template has a backwards compatibility version built in that looks alot like 6.x & 7.x. I think it is in there for use with the ‘basic’ mode of R8.x. I am running an R8.5 server, using the 8.5 mail template. I have two machines, one with 8.5 and the other with 6.5.6 and the mail functionality is fully there on the 6.5.6 machine with two key exceptions… preferences cannot be modified and the OOO cannot be used. HTH
