Notes 6.5.1 is not Forwarding Attachments

I have a user who is complaining that Notes Release 6.5.1 will not forward his attachments. There is no error message, but when he tries to forward the message, the icon for the attachment is forwarded, but there is no attachment beneath it. The only thing I have been able to find so far is that there could be two nlnotes processes running. I had the user check that, and he said there is only one. I have also run updall and fixup on his mail database. Any suggestions?

The times we had this problem, we found that our users were over their quota and Notes would not add the attachments onto outgoing memos.
We would see a littl graphic that looked like an attachment but was not the attachment itself.

Did you set up quota limits?

Beyond that, I can’t even imagine this happening…

    Check your Windows Task Manager, go to process and see if you have two nlnotes.exe running. If you do the Notes client will not be able to send the full attachment but only the an image of the actual file. You need to close Lotes Notes, make sure that there are not nlnotes running in your task manager "precess". and retry again, the attachment you work.

    We've experienced the same problem. I found something on notes.net that suggests clearing the cache or closing the notes client and reopening. That works sometimes...but sometimes not.
