If I have a table that has the following data (f1 & f2 are the field names): f1 f2 a 1 a 2 a 0 b 1 b 2 b 3 I want to write a query that would not return b because b has a f2 = 3. So, in other words: I have a table with many records for each id. I do not want to return any records if the id has a specific value. Thanks, Bob

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You could use a query like this:

select * from table_x
where f1 not in
(select f1 from table_x where f2 = 3);
