 Not prompting fro Smart Upgrade

Hello, I'm currently planning for the upgrade of our notes clients from 6.5.0 to 8.0. I have set up smart Upgrade to do this. The only problem I am having is users do not get automatically prompted when logging onto notes to upgrade. The upgrade works though if they go File-Tools-Smart Upgrade. I think this may just be a limitation with the 6.5.0 client, but not sure. At the moment our servers are still 6.5.6, about to be upgraded soon. Any ideas? Thanks

If you are using a Desktop policy assigned to the users to use the Smart Upgrade application, you must be sure that the Upgrade deadline is selected to have the upgrade automatically launched. This worked for me, hope it helps.

I’ve actually got that set. I’ve tried setting the upgrade deadline for a previous date too to try and force it, but this doesn’t work. It just removes the option of updating later when you manually smart upgrade.
