save it 
click insert file and then insert the saved file .
the lenghth will increase to 120secs.
do this as many times as you can and save the file.
close sound recorder and reboot your pc.
now open sound recorder and then first insert the saved file in it 
now speak in the device and enjoy the lenghth of speaking]]></description>

connect the microphone and click the microphone button on the timeline bar.
after that you will see a small box with a start narration button on the side of the file toolbar.
click the start narration button and speak into your device as much long as you want.
when finished click the stop narration button.
you will be propmpted to a save narration button 
save the file.
locate it and open with windows media player.
you can also in sert pictures in the movie maker at the same time of recording to make a flash file with video summary]]></description>

I second the vote for Audacity, although I really loved Creative WaveStudio too.  I used it in Windows 3.1~XP and it worked fine until I went to Linux and needed something else...

Audacity should definitely do everything you need and more.]]></description>

It allowed me to save &lt;b&gt;180 seconds&lt;/b&gt;, and then the problem occurred again, and also confirmed that the above workaround doesn&#039;t work.  If I try to insert files which exceed the 180 seconds limit, the same error is raised.
