Not able to configure exchange account for different domain.
Hi,
We have installed the exchange server 2007 in domain xyz.co.in. when we configure exchange account
in the outlook 2007 on the a machine having same domain exchange server 2007(xyz.co.in). we are able to
successfully configure. But when we configure a new account in outlook 2007 on a machine having different
domain(abc.co.in) it gives error:
"can not open your default email folder you must connect to exchange with current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your offline folder file."
if any one have faced such issue please let us know how we could resolve it.
any suggestion would be great help for us.

Users in domain abc.co.in are not going to be able to connect to the exchange server in xyz.com.in. The error you received is correct. You must be logged into the same domain as the exchange server to connect outlook; either on the xyz domain or connected by VPN.
Why not set up RCP over HTTP ( outlook Anywhere ) and eliminate the need for the VPN?
