Not a perfect synchronization between Blackberry terminal and local replica of Lotus Notes Inbox

My Lotus Notes clients have and use only local replica of the mail file. Very often the syncronization between Inbox view and Blackberry view is not perfect. To be more specific, when I read a message from Lotus Notes Inbox and the message change the status to READ the same message on Blackberry is marked UNREAD, even if a wait for a long period of time. The same thing is when reading a message from Blackberry terminal. READ on Blackberry, UNREAD in Lotus Notes Inbox. What should I do to obtain a perfect synchronization between Notes Inbox and Blackberry Inbox. I am using Lotus Notes 6.5.3, BES 4.1?
