 Norton WMI Update

I have a problem:- When I click the NAV icon in the system tray I get first window installer message, which dies and then an error message A product that requires Norton WMI update is still installed on this system". NAV seems to be working in the background, although I have to go to sheduled task to manual start the auto update and scan disk.FYI, Its is NAV2004 and I have unistalled and reinstalled.WMI is also in control panel but I cannot uninstall as there is no option to do this, just the name remains. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

Turn off System Restore, if relevent, uninstall and remove all references to NAV from the registry. You can do this manually or use a registry cleaner. Then try a reinstall. However NAV should use live update for virus definitions.
