Multiple users in the network are replying to someone outside the network or sending original emails and the emails are not being delivered. Non-deliverable reports are being generated.
Exchange 2003 SP2
It is occuring with the subdomain email account *@cinci.rr.com specifically as multiple outgoing emails to this are not being submitted to the smtp address of that domain.
The local smtp is attempting to send, but it is just not getting there.
1. Is there something about sending to a subdomain email address that i am not getting with regard to settings on my internal exchange?
2. Or is that subdomain email account possibly blocking mail coming out of my Exchange because of some filtering/spam prevention process?
I have used web-based email to send to this sub-domain and it gets there. This would eliminate my domain from being on a blacklist I would presume.
Also, emails with attachments are not getting to recepients outside the network. I have looked at outlook settings and exchange settings and the type of attached file i am sending is not being blocked. .jpg & pdf files are the type i send.
Any suggestions on either issue?
