I’ll start off by nominating Kevin Beaver. His article Big Brother or lowly minion? Defining your role in IT got me thinking; that’s something all good articles should do.

Thanks for the shout out Mshen - you’re very kind!
I want to nominate Labnuke99 - it seems like he’s beat me to the punch with well thought out responses on practically every question I go to answer.
Keep up the good work guys!

Philpl1jb gets my vote. At 21,000+ points Phil rules.
Please use the $20 Amazon dollars to buy a couple books for your kids school though or better yet let’s make that Phil’s choice…

I would like to nominate Gilly400. Martin has a lot of great technical programming knowledge and is the first one, mostly because he is in EUROPE and sees the questions long before any of us in the US :-), to give a great and indepth answer.

I’m really surprised that Mshen hasn’t been nominated yet, so I would like to nominate him.
He is certainly one of the most active members and his answers and comments are always helpful.

I’d like to put in my two cents and nominate TomLiotta — he’s been the dark horse of the community lately, cleaning up the AS/400 section and earning the most Knowledge Points per week over the past few weeks. He’s expressed that he wants the community to shine, and I think that exemplifies what a star community member should be!
Really enjoying all of the nominations here… remember, this is the second to last week to get your nominations in!

I second the nomination fro Tom Liotta. We actually met onsite in Eugene OR about 15 years ago, but I see his name in the iseries and RPG forums far more than anyone else.
Perhaps a side benefit from the sluggish economy? ;-}
