No Router Daisy Chains?
I have a Motorola SBV5120 Cable Modem connected to a DI 604 (D-Link, all 4 ports of which are used by the desktop and two printers) which is connected to a Westell Versalink 327w router. Can I connect that router to another DI 604, which would then split to a computer and a PS3? From some of the information I've gleaned here and elsewhere on the internet, daisy-chaining routers may be impossible, but if I can save the price of a switch I'd like to. Please answer in lay terminology, as I'm only semi-tech-savvy.

Basic switches for the home usually cost equal or less than a router.
Daisy chaining a router might or might not work. It just depends on the router and if the manufacturer provides that functionality. For most routers, you can make it act like a switch by not plugging into the uplink port. Plug your uplink cable into one of the 4 switch ports, and it should extend your lan for the other 3 ports.
