Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Simple fix: Start -> Run -> outlook /resetnavpane

That should do the trick, a recent update changes some code. There is also another method if someone else would like to share..

Please provide more details so you can get a knowledgeable answer. Is this an exchange account or an ISP pop3 account? If exchange, what version of Exchange? Have you tried setting it up on another computer yet? What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far?

My computer is not on exchange. It has Outlook 2007 on two profiles, mine and my wifes. It works on her profile. I just opened it on my profile and added my email addresses successfully. When I try to open the program, I get the error message.

Reset navpane doesn't fix my issue. I have tried deleting/recreating profiles, uninstalled office 2007 completely, I cannot get past this error message. Any ideas?

My computer is on an Exchange Server. I have no trouble connecting to the exchange server. My profile can be opened on other computers, just not mine. I have Outlook 2007. I have deleted my profile and started from scratch more times than I can count, with reboots in between just in case. I also rebooted after each deinstall of Outlook 2007.
