Hi folks,
I was a C# developer, and now I am doing my masters in Computer Science (speicificaly web development in Java). But I 7-8 months I wanted to work on cloud computing as a developer and I also wanted to experience most tasks in cloud computing may be with in the next decade.
I really need a guide (books, sites or any recommendations) that help me to start my career in Cloud Computing. I decided to buy either Cloud Computing bible or Cloud Computing, A practical approach book.
Can you guide me please? I have 8 months to prepare my self for the Cloud Computing jobs.
Thank you.
Mati

The problem with programming for cloud computing is that in actuality, you can’t. If you know what load balancing is and how it’s utilized, it’s the same exact thing as what a cloud is, just with a simpler name. In actuality, the only difference I can really imagine being different is that load balancing replicates the data across the network of computers, and clouds just store the data on a specific server, if that’s even possible.

All you need to address really is the data you need from the cloud to the master server (as I call it), and the server will send it to you based on where on the cloud the data stored.

@Ehanse24 ... I appreciate your help. To be honest, I am not familiar with the words you expressed in your response. I will try to find out what that means and I will get back to this forum when I understand it. Thank you.

Actually you I wasn't confused, but I don't know the details of the words u used to describe your answer (like load balancing). Let's say, you meet a junior desktop app developer and you wanted to elaborate what skills and knowledge he need to work in cloud computing (Specifically as a developer). What do you tell him? That guy is just me.
