New to macros (probably a simple question)

Cell c4 and c5 have check boxes. Cell E4 has a number. Cell F5 has a number. Cell E6 and F6 are blank but is where I want to total a the column. If the check box in cell C4 is checked then the check box in C5 cannot and vice versa. If the check box in C4 is checked it will add the number in E4 and total in E6. Same if the other box is checked.
