New build, Vista64. Computer reboots on it's own
Vista 64-bit, I7 Processor, x58 Pro MB, Windows Vista
Computer reboots occasionally on it's own. It's like hitting the reset button. Once rebooted no problems. This is a new build and I have checked all the hardware and can not find anything wrong. The odd thing here is this only happens a few times a week with no real pattern. The closest thing to a pattern is it's more likely to happen within 15 minutes of the first boot of the day next most common is when it is idle.

Software/Hardware used:
Vista64, MSI X58 Pro, Intel I7, 6mb ram

Check the event logs prior to the reboot event. Maybe something is being captured there.

-------------------------

1. Right Click on My Computer
2. Click on Properties
3. Click on the Advanced tab
4. Click on Settings for Startup and Recovery
5. UNCHECK Automatically restart.

Now the user will get a BSOD with an error message you can troubleshoot with.

if problem still ,you can try to restor point service and then checked its,or scan your window with update antivers

sir i have also that problem in my xp3 opratiing but its is few different system is restart few time not countnue i have no restore point
