EIGRP and OSPF are both more powerfull routing protocols than RIP.

EIGRP is proprietary (from Cisco) and is not able to escalate so well as OSPF.

OSPF is a *Senior* routing protocol, vendor independent and relay on open standards. When well designed and implemented (need a real PRO to do it well) can give you all the manageability wanted/needed.

Thanks, and one more thing.how can we edit means in the what sense are you saying.Sorry, actually i don't have very depth knowledge. Can you please explain.we have areas in OSPF means we cant edit.I agree with you, then what about EIGRP.

One more question Don' mind.Actually i am attending interviews, that's why i am asking. Can you please,Do you have any idea about PORT FACTORS in OSPF.
