Hi to all, I have set up a network connection from Ubuntu PC to a Windows PC using the Places->"Connect to Server" option. While there is no problem browsing the network folders using the 'file browser' how can I brows the remote Windows PC from a shell window? Thank you, Yitsue

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You will likely need to setup a SMB mount to the system and/or configure SAMBA to get this accomplished from the UBUNTU side.

The other possibility is that you could setup a FTP server on the windows PC, but that would require you to have a ftp client on the unbuntu side you liked using.
