Hi is the any application which can audit machines on the network.

Hi Rick thanks for the response by audit i mean if its possible to know the software’s installed in the machines . I am an administrator and do not want users to misuse the resources of the company.

Belarc has some commercial products, I’ve not used them though only the free standalone version which does what you’re looking for on a per pc basis. I’m pretty sure the commercial offerings will do what you want.

there is another software called starcat. i have tried that out and it can do a lot of wonders for you..but you will have to purchase that software..

Ahh well, depending on your companys budget i would check out LAN desk or altirs deplyament solution (no symantech) you can audi all machines on the network down to hardware spec.
