 Network enumeration
Hi, Can any body tell me how to enumerate the installed software on the machines with in the network.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but if you want to inventory the software on computer in your network, you can look into an open-source program called: OCS Inventory. If this is a Windows-based network, I believe you can also use WMIC. This would be executed at a command line (or you could script it). What operating system do you need to enumerate?

I just did a google search for “network software inventory” (minus quotes) and got a ton of responses. As I also recall from various trade shows, there’s a thriving market in the subject.
