Network connectivity problems on small LAN
Hello, I have a small office with 10 computers. They are all on same network (LAN). The problem I am facing is difficulty communicating with each computer. One is the main, other PCs have difficulty connecting to it. They are all on the same workgroup. One might be able to see others but the others might not be able to see the rest of the PCs or be able to access the shared folders. Please help ASAP

Answer Wiki:
The most probable cause is the firewall settings. If it doesn’t help, check your switch/router configuration and network settings on every PC (DHCP, file and printer sharing etc.). Use standard networking tools (ping et al.). When unable to find a solution, supply us with additional information about your network (topology, hardware, OSs) or redesign following a manual.
