I am new to Netgear. How do I make my Netgear secured? Right now it shows unsecured. I would like to change to secured. Thanks

You need to add a security encryption key to your wireless network. In the wireless configuration menu, you should have an option for encryption with options like WEP and WPA.

Can you add more information about specific Netgear model? Did you go to the Netgear support website and search for documentation on your specific model?

If you have the option in your Netgear - or any wireless AP/router - choose WPA2 with pre-shared keys and use 20+ random characters for the passphrase.
