I'm trying to use the service calendar in CRM 4.0 but find it is not providing the appointment picks in the form I think I should be seeing.
Since the service I want to schedule has a 1-hour duration with a 15 minute interval, I want to see at 8:00 am all of the personnel available for the first service call of the day. I also want to see all of the equipment/facilities I have available at 8:00 am on the pick list. I want to select a resource to do the first job and the equipment they need, and see both appear on the 8:00 am line in the calendar.
But instead the pick list shows a repetition of the resource group name (that contains the equipment) in 15 minutes intervals and then at 10:15 am I see the first available staffer.
I was hoping to see equipment capacity drawn down as I schedule it and then see personnel capacity also drawn down. But neither service intervals or capacity seem to have any effect when changed on the service calendar Find Available Times list.
What have I incorrectly configured?
