 need recommendations for a bit error rate tester
Hi all,[Br style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica;" />[Br style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica;" />trying to find a BERT that supports 10Gbps, 1Gbps and Fast Ethernet so that when someone points the finger at the network team for packet lost, i can prove that theres nth wrong with the network link. Any recommendations?[Br style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica;" />[Br style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica;" />Thanks in advance.

A BERT tester might be overkill for what you need. I would recommend a packet capture and analysis tool like <a href="http://www.wireshark.org">Wireshark</a>. This will permit you to capture data on the link and see what is happening at several layers.
