Need help with small wireless network

if i have a wireless N router and i want to hook up a desktop at the other end of the house up with a network adapter do i need an N adapter or can i use a G?

Most “N” wireless AP and routers are backward compatible with the “G” standard. If you Google the manufacturers name and the model number you should find all the info you need for setting it up.
