Hello All, Need help with a hyperlink issue. Using Acrobat 6.0, I added a hyperlink to a PDF form that links to my website. The link works fine, but I want to control how the link is opened. Is it possible to force it to open in a new browser frame/window? I did not see any additional options other than "open a web page". If not possible in Acrobat 6.0, would a newer version have this option? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Avery

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I don’t think that is possible in any version of Acrobat (hope I’m wrong).
I had a look at Adobe 9 today, and it has the exact same options that version 6 when creating links.

Have you tried setting the Acrobat preferences? The Documents Preferences (Acrobat 8 or later) or General Preferences (in earlier versions) has a preference option: Open cross-document links in same window. If you turn off the check on this item, document links *should* open in a new window.

It doesn't work. I think it refers to links to other PDF documents, not web links.
