Hi, I have been tasked with updating a database using IBM Reflections for 1600+ entries. I have been doing it by hand so far and have seen threads but never gotten enough info out of them. What I want to do, which I would do if it were two excel files, is update the database file by using a vlookup to match the customer numbers then fill in the needed fields. I tried to run a macro to see what the code looks like but I don't see how to look up the entry by the cust name and amend the other parts. FYI I can only access the screen from which to manipulate the data using the terminal. Please help! I know I am more or less asking for the whole code but repititive tasks and not being able to figure out the easy way make the OP go crazy.

Also I dont have access to file transfer or a way to get to the file I manipulating. I am guessing that I may be seeing the file name at the top of the screen so maybe i can use that to run the loop but I dont know how that will be formatted.
Hello,< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I want to help you and give you a free licence to a nice software utility.
The utility ‘Excel to database’ that will do this task easily for you and I
would like to confirm that it works with IBM Reflections.
Essentially the application allows you to copy and paste data into an excel
insert/update template that you can very easily define.
We have many users with SQL Server, Access, FoxPro, MySQL but I need to get
things working for IBM Reflections – so if you will allow me to help you I will
give you a free licence
You can find the utility here :
