He said he has an iSeries E800 and is using iSeries Client Express when he wants to open or print a report from Operations Navigator. But he receives the following error message: "AFP workbench has encountered a problem and need to be closed." Does anyone know what might be going on? -- Michelle Davidson, editor, Search400.com

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

AFP workbench is encountering a problem. If you are not using Advanced Function Printing, I would just go into your Client Access setup again and remove the AFP checkmarks to uninstall that feature. (via add/remove programs.)

If you are using AFP then I would make sure that I had the latest service pack installed on both the server and the PC.

Without knowing the most basic info like what version/release of System i Access is used and what service pack has been applied, the only reasonable guess is to suggest downloading and installing a recent service pack. Tom
