Need help configuring IBM BladeCenter H via Qlogic 6502 FC switches to IBM DS3400 storage array...
IBM, FC SAN configuration
I could use any help with configuring the above SAN solution. There is one BladeCenter H chassis with ten HS21 blades; two Cisco 20-port FC switch modules for the BladeCenter; two QLogic 6502 FC switches, and a dual controller IBM DS3400 storage array with ten 450 GB SAS drives. HBAs are Emulex 4GB expansion cards (CFFv). The BladeCenter will initially contain one Windows Server 2003 blade and one VMware ESX blade. Any thoughts or drawings on how to best connect the devices? How about an optimal number of LUNs and LUN size? Thanks friends! Have an excellent Memorial Day!
