Need a network card for a MAC G3
Hey, any MAC people out there? I have a client who has an ancient MAC G3 running OS 8.5. I have limited experience with Apple hardware, and have handled the diagnostic over the phone so far. From what I am able to determine the Ethernet port on the computer has died (Cables work on another system, as does the port on the switch). The dead port seems to be an integrated port on the mother board. I'm looking for a replacement card (I believe that PCI cards will fit in the computer) but I'm not sure what type will work. What about drivers? Thanks!

Answer Wiki:
Sadly it seems that my "Vintage" Mac is not repairable. Searching for a PCI card that also has the needed drivers for an old operating system has also been hopeless. Looks like I'll have to just bite the bullet and upgrade. But wow, only getting 11 years of solid productive use out of a computer makes me question their long-term usefulness.
