Now with all those older computers it will be nice to have a bootable floppy disk to find out what hardware , size , cpu ,ram so I don’t have to open each computer .I use to have one but that was in the old days of dos lost that long time a go .
Can there be one made? If so how? Ore are there still some out there on the net. Please don’t send me to some links where shareware the cost is too high for me. I put in more than 35 hours a week as a volunteer right now but I’m on SSD it killing me but I can’t stop the org need some help with IT personal where I’m.

You can find a wide variety of FREE downloadable boot disks here then you can use This page to determine what commands to use for the information you are seeking. The chkdsk command would probably be a good place to start. You can also check here for boot disks.
Good Luck!

Working on old equipment is a chalange. I suggest you look into UBCD <a href="http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/" title="http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/" target="_blank">http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/</a> as it will boot from CD and has many useful utilities including AIDA16. You can also create a bootable floppy and place AIDA16 on it and you can download it from <a href="http://soft.softoogle.com/ap/aida16-download-1910.shtml" title="http://soft.softoogle.com/ap/aida16-download-1910.shtml" target="_blank">http://soft.softoogle.com/ap/aida16-down…</a> If you are more in to trying new things, here is a project site that may be of interest  <a href="http://rule-project.org/?q=node/4" title="http://rule-project.org/?q=node/4" target="_blank">http://rule-project.org/?q=node/4</a>
Let us know if you need additional suggestions.
