Image storage
I have a small site that maintains uploaded user images. I am worried that the influx of images will quickly surpass the limits of my directory. Can someone suggest a storage strategy that would help me?

It depends on your limits and what is coming in. There is nothing you can do about storage limits except prune out what is not authorized. If you are talking about a numerical limit on files in a directory then you need to identify some criteria for assigning files to a category/directory. Implementation details provide the answer to selecting criteria. Username or date are some immediately obvious possibilities.
